The Prajapati Story - The Beginning
A Boy Discovers Himself
The Cool Air whistled a soothing tune to him as he lay there awaiting Nindra
Devi to take him to the land of
Sleep. It was There he could escape from the pressures of day-to-day life and be free
once again. He was starting to follow the tune into his dreams when a Musing
voice spoke up with an alluring echo of a voice. "Prajapati," it said,
"Praaaajaaaapatiiii," it kept repeating. The feminine voice repeated
his Name over and over in a melodious chant. Excitement ran through his Being as
he felt something he was so close to but at the same time so very far
from.....It was Something that felt so Heavenly.
He was caught in a state of ecstasy. He seemed to be aware of so much around
him like the Shining of the Moon and the Blowing of the winds. Somehow he knew
that the Future would lead him to where he was supposed to be. Right now,
however, he enjoyed the rapturous moment....the Bright Moon was shining in
Prajapati's face and the gentle breeze was sifting sweetly through his hair as
he drifted to sleep...
Awoken from the Night
It sounded so peaceful, refreshing, and cheerful. Each different tone of
voice lent a different color to her Dream. Gradually, her dreams became
enlivened by the sound of music so pleasant for the ear to hear. Something
pulled her a little more away from her Sleepiness with every note that was
played.
She thought to herself, 'what are these bright sounds?', 'why do they sound
so pleasant?', 'whence are these delightful sounds originating?' Lad knew
in time, the answers would come because she had Asked! Lad then got up and
looked out the window. It was still dark out but she thought she saw a glimmer
of Light somewhere. Soon the Great Sun would emerge from the distant horizon and
Shine its bright rays on all the darkness around her. And Soon she would be Wide
Awake.
Energized into Action
What time was it? The sun crept in through his bedroom window as he was
deciding whether to get up now or wait until his parents woke up. It seemed that
Mistry was always struggling through his indecisiveness. Sometimes he would hear
a clear message from Within his self but he would not listen to it. And that
seemed to cause him great stress and anxiety. But why would he not listen to
himself? Mistry started debate this in his mind. But suddenly, a book fell
crashing onto the floor from his table. It was his copy of the Gita. Mistry went
to pick it up. As he returned the Book to its proper place, a magnificent sight
caught his eye. He turned to look at that sparkle and at the moment the
rising Light of the morning Sun shone directly into Him. He gazed straight at it
as the Sun sent beams of majestic rays into his eyes, energizing him! Excitement
coursed through his Being as Mistry Clasped his Hands Together and began to
recite the Gayatri mantra like it was second nature to him. Just as quickly as
it entered, the debate fled from his mind. He knew for first time, that This was
his First, True nature.
