Namaste all prajaapatio:
prajaapati samaaj bilimora arranged a CRICKET
TOURNAMENT on Sunday, January 6, 2002. In this tournament sixteen team of
navasaari and valsaad districts took part. The photos of the
tournament are included at the end of the report.
This tournament had teams from different villages and cities like bilimoraa,
gandevi, amalsaad, pithaa, degaam, kill-paardi, bigri, desraa, pananj, segvi, bamanvel, etc. In each team
there were at least 14 players.
In the morning at 9.00 am, shree natvarlaal intwaala,
President of prajaapati vidhyarthi aashram bilimoraa
inaugurated the tournament. All the leading members of samaajo were present at that time. At least 250-300
samaajo youths were also present at that time. The lunch of shaakh
and puri was served under the sponsorship of shree prajaapati vidhyarthi
aashram bilimora to about 250 players.
The final match was played between:
paardi prajaapati team (jaldevi) and
pithaa prajaapati team
and the tournament was won by
pithaa prajaapati team
shree natvarlaal intwaalaa, bhagubhaai laad, arvindbhaai
mehtaa (President of Kumbhkar), kamleshbhai
prajaapati, rameshbhaai laad, hargovindbhai intwaalaa, jayantibhaai laad, chhaganbhaai
mistry, h. j. prajaapati, hiraalaal, pravinbhaai and many more leading
samaaj sevako are present at the time of semi-final and final match.
In his speech shree natvarlaal intwaalaa says that this tournament
has been started in memory of their father late gokaldaas
intwaalaa to gather samaajo people on one stage and that
dream finally came true after four years. Next year we wish to arrange a bigger tournament in which about
30 teams will be participate.

announced two cricket bats, stumps and one sweater to the best performers
in the tournament...names to follow.....

This is a first one for Prajapati Vishva Asharm Foundation
(PVAF). It is also a first one for bilimoraa
samaaj: reporting and hosting a
prajaapati cricket tournament. 
But the heroes of this tournament are these prajaapatio who dreamed and made
the tournament a reality: dharmendra mistry, ketan
d. prajaapati, bhaavin intwaalaa, prakaash b. laad, sanjay mistry, kishorbhaai m.
bilimoria, manish r. mistry, umesh prajaapati.....pray they keep
on dreaming and creating for a long time to come.....with 30 teams participating
next year.....
