Saturn is over a billion kilometers from the planet Earth and 287 million kilometers from Saturn. At 28,487 kph, nuclear-powered Cassini mission will reach Saturn on July 1, 2004, 624 days from now.
The Cassini-Huygens mission is a cooperative endeavor of NASA, the European Space Agency and Italy's space agency.
