GROIN IS SACREDLY SENSITIVE ...NO BEATING PLEASE...
India’s Bibhuti Bhushan Nayak had a smashing time trying to get his name into the record books – although there was something particularly “below the belt” about his attempt. The 34-year-old fitness instructor claims to be able to “numb the nerves to any kind of pain”, which is useful when having concrete slabs smashed with a sledgehammer – against your groin! Yes, Nayak has just been awarded the Guinness World Record for most Groin Breaks! The fearless fitness fanatic – a post-graduate in Business Management and an initiate of Oriental Yoga – has spent years building up resistance to injury, and he’s proud of his eye-watering ability to take direct kicks to the groin.“Many have discouraged me against performing these dangerous stunts,” he reported. “But I have continued my practice of rigorous Chinese yoga for the past 20 years. I also have a special diet with more pulses." Nayak beat the previous holder by laying three 18.5 kg (41 lb) concrete slabs over his groin and having his assistant batter them to rubble with a 6 kg (14 lb) sledgehammer. He then followed this – as you do – with a record-breaking series of push ups, managing an incredible 133 in one minute. And that’s not all, says the rock-hard record breaker. "I now plan to break 72 Guinness records in the next 15 years, including breaking 50 baseball bats with my shin bone and jumping seven feet backwards. My immediate plan is to attempt five records in a day." Rock on, Nayak!

HEAVIEST BED OF NAILS
Lee Graber of Tallmadge, Ohio, USA, endured the weight of the heaviest bed of nails on his body. He was sandwiched between two beds of nails, with a weight of 752.5 kg (1,659 lb) placed on top for a total of 10 seconds on June 24, 2000. The weight was loaded on top of him using a crane. The most difficult aspect was controlling his breathing as he had a lot of weight on his chest and he needed to relax to avoid bursting a blood vessel in his head.
