GUJARAT QUAKE: INTERNATIONAL DONORS CONTRIBUTE US$683 MILLION

| Foreign donors inlcuding the world bank has committed US$883 million so far for the quake relief and reconstruction in Gujarat. More funds are still being negotiated. Gujarat government has estimated the damage to houses and property at US$2.37 billion. |
