HAPPINESS OF HUMANITY
Thomas Paine was a political and deistic writer shuttling between his native
England, USA and Europe; extraordinarily fertile in ideas, a bold and vigorous
friend of human liberty. To him is to be traced the common saying,
"These are the times that try men's souls".
And how true this thought is in the present times of world conflicts and
wars of social, economical, political and religious disagreements among current
humanity.....
Paine was not an atheist, but a deist. In his will he speaks of his
"reposing confidence in my Creator-God and in no other
being; for I know no other, nor believe in any other."....which is
such a fundamental
veDik lifestyle philosophy.....
And as per Paine happiness in life, which
is the fundamental mandate and operational philosophy at PVAF, is attained
through the knowledge and intuitive belief in the grand scheme of things of
creator bRH`m:
"It is necessary to the
happiness of man
that he be mentally faithful to himself.
Infidelity does not consist in
believing, or disbelieving,
it consists in professing
to believe
what one does not believe."
- Thomas Paine (1736-1809)
