I enjoyed "UTTARAYAN".
We are come back after our semester break of two week and I
enjoyed it very happily.
My last semester result of Second Year Bachelor of
Engineering (S.Y.B.E.) First semester has come. It is as good as my first
two semester results. I get 9.28 SPI in this semester. I am sending my
result here below.
SEMESTER PERFORMANCE INDEX AT THE END OF THE SEMESTER (SPI): 9:28
CUMULATIVE PERFORMANCE INDEX AT THE END OF THE SEMESTER (CPI): 8.94
My second semester of S.Y.B.E is started.
Here I am writing how we enjoyed "UTTARAYAN".
"UTTARAYAN" is a Gujarati word. "UTTARAYAN" is celebrated on 14th January
of every year. On that day sun moves in "MAKAR" rashee as per Indian
"NAKSHATRA". So "UTTARAYAN" is also called as "MAKARSANKRANTI".
On North Pole of the earth there is six months night and six month’s day.
Before 14th January sun is on the South Pole of the earth but after 14th
Jan. it is moved on North Pole and the peoples live at North Pole see sun
after six month. So 14th January is called "UTTARAYAN".
On "UTTARAYAN" children and younger fly "KITE" in the sky. Women make
"TAL-SANKARI" which is made from "TAL" (one type seed) and sugar. In our
village women make "TAL-SANKARI" and it is first of all eaten by the cow
because in "HINDU" religion cow is prayed as a mother and then it is given
to the members of house.
Children and younger buy KITE and string from the bazaar before
"UTTARAYAN". On "UTTARAYAN" they fly KITE in the sky from their terrace.
They take "patch" with each other and cut the kite of each other and enjoy.
On that day love between brother & sister is also observed. Brother sends
"TAL-SANKARI" to his sister and gives blessing.
Some times "UTTARAYAN" may make unhappy when small children fall down
from their terrace flying "KITE". In our village one child was felt down and
admitted to hospital.
On "UTTARAYAN" I was went to "UNAI" (small city) 7 km away from my
village. Hot waters natural streams are there where I was taken bath. There
is old temple of GOD "RAM", "SITA", and "LAKSHAMAN". The story of this place
is in "satyug" when RAM was going "VANVAS" they were passed from UNAI. I
also enjoyed UTTARAYAN by flying kite & eating TAL-SANKARI.
The day gives inspiration to fly higher and
higher without stopping like a KITE. As KITE flies in the sky freely we
should free from tension. As kite is in control through string, we should
keep control on some thing of life.
So this is about how we enjoy UTTARAYAN. Please write how you enjoy
"UTTARAYAN" in next mail. I don’t know E-mail ID’s of Kalpeshbhai,
Bhavinbhai & Vineshbhai so it will send on next mail.
Bye???????????????????????????????????????
