The Fifth International Conference of World Association for Vedic Studies
(WAVES), Inc., a multi-disciplinary academic society - tax exempt in USA, will
be held on July 9 Ð 11, 2004 at the University of Maryland, Shady Grove
Campus, at Rockville, Maryland (a suburb of Washington, DC), USA.
The theme of this years conference is: "India's
Intellectual Traditions In Contemporary Global Context"
The Conference aims to bring together
professionals with interests in diverse areas of Indian Studies. They include
scholars, academics, authors, writers, journalists, media-persons, artists,
etc., and, of course, the common folk interested in past, present and future
of Indian/Vedic Studies.
