A TRUE STORY OF A RISING STAR STUDENT OF
PVAF GUJRAAT EDUCATION PROGRAM..
VIJAYKUMAR GET A PERFECT SCORE
IN 4TH SEMESTER OF CIVIL ENGINEERING DEGREE

PVAF had this appeal for scholarship donation in June 2003...through a little eye-opener on facing poverty in life by a bright student.... who now is proving that sky is the limit to removing poverty due to illiteracy:

  • Vijay's proud but very poor mother and father earn as unskilled labourers about Rs 90 per day when they can find work.
  • Vijay lives with his parents and one 15 year old sister in his uncle's house as his father's house is falling apart...
  • Vijay and his family live with bare minimum of household things.
  • Although being illiterate and poor, Vijay's mother and father have raised two children who have done very well in school....
  • Vijay has secured admission to get a civil engineering degree...that is quite an achievement for a very poor boy ....
  • Vijay's sister is also doing well in standard 11 and is looking forward to study at the university....Vijay and his sister can get out of poverty with education....

From the above donation appeal on PVAF AASHRAM NEWS page and in 2003 PRAJAPATI SANDESH PATRA (UK) ,  a 4-year scholarship to Vijaykumar Natubhai Lad was donated by SRii Ramesh Mistry and his wife SRiimti Vimla Mistry of Raynes Park, London, UK.

Vijaykumar Natubhai Lad was given a PVAF student scholarship through PVAF Gujraat Education Program.... This donated scholarship has empowered Vijaykumar and his parents to pay all the education, living and travel expenses during 4 years study till Vijay completes  in 2006 his 4-year degree program in civil engineering at Vallabh Vidya Nagar University....

And now Vijaykumar has proven to his donors, PVAF and the entire world that he is very serious about his studies by scoring a perfect A in all the five subjects in his 4th semester of the 8 semesters which ended in June 2004. In his 3rd semester Vijaykumar had scored 3 A's and 2 B's.....

WE AT PVAF AND ALL AROUND THE WORLD
ARE ALL PROUD OF YOU VIJAYKUMAR...

Vijaykumar  is alos an upcoming author and a poet..... who would be a civil engineer building houses, roads, bridges, water and sewer systems and all kinds of community infrastructure for his fellow humans so that they can live a happy, healthy, progressive and prosperous lives...How do we know Vijay kumar is an upcoming author and a poet?.....from  Vijaykumar's feelings watching a  very popular festival of mkr-sNkRaaNti in Gujraat and all over bhaart (India) as put in words below:

"The day gives inspiration to fly higher and higher without stopping like a KITE....
As KITE flies in the sky freely we should free from tension....
As kite is in control through string, we should keep control on some thing of life."...
