veD HELPING PVAF VOLUNTEERS
TO REMOVE DuKH OF POVERTY

The continual study of veD at Prajaapati Vishva Aashram Foundation (PVAF) by the key volunteers has helped them to make what PVAF is today after about 8 years of growth since 1996...veD is a sNskRUt language word meaning SCIENCES OF CREATION AND LIFE.....The continual study of veD has also empowered and enabled a lot of PVAF volunteers to continue volunteering when the life and volunteering became tough and burdensome to carry on because of DuKH (pain and suffering) in life....

The PVAF Gujraat Education Program is PVAF's veDik method of leading those who are suffering from the DuKH of poverty to suKH which is attained and supported by GNaan (knowledge of creator bRH`m and HIS creations)...Presently 5 poor but bright students are on the way to get their engineering degrees with the help of PVAF donors funds through PVAF Gujraat Education Program...

The following are the universal and eternal TRUTHS about suKH (joy and happiness) and DuKH (pain and suffering) in creation and life as per veD :

  • Everyone and everything in this creation and life has to experience continual cycles of suKH and DuKH...if a creation experiences suKH then it has to be followed by DuKH when suKH expires for whatever reason and it will expire for many reasons...

  • DuKH can only be controlled and eliminated by GNaan which is the knowledge of creator bRH`m and HIS creations...All creations are creator bRH`m's wishes to be many and do many kARm (actions)....
  • GNaan can only be obtained by first knowing ONESELF...this knowing oneself in veD is called aat`m-GNaan...which in English is equivalent to knowledge of ones aat`maa (soul) and relation of one's aat`maa to creator bRH`m and all other creations...

  • GNaan is the only thing that empowers one to attain moKSH....tp (penance and austerity practices), Daan (charity), yaaTRaa (pilgrimage),  vRt (religious fasts and observances), jp (repeated chanting of mNTR), puujaa and pRaathnaa (worship and prayer) and all other veDik methods will lead to moKSH but will not reward moKSH per se.... moKSH is explained has living in this creation and experiencing and performing all kARm in life without any attachments to any of one's fellow creations and to one's kARm of physical or emotional or me-ness or mine-ness or expectation of any rewards or benefits for oneself....
    .
  • If one attains moKSH then one's DuKH is eliminated and one has continual and supreme suKH which is called aanND which is the experience of supreme bliss without the possibility of DuKH following suKH as per nature's eternal and universal laws and as happens if moKSH is not attained......

(The preceding knowledge has been shared with the entire humanity from the veD library of SRii Chmpklaal Daajibhaai misTRii of Edmonton, Alberta, Canada...)

To illustrate how if you carry DuKH it will just cause increasing pain and suffering in life...But if you put away DuKH with GNaan the DuKH will go away...please click on the next line to study a real life example given to students by a professor....this was submitted by SRii Amitab Sharma from Fort McMurray, Alberta, Canada for posting...Amitabji is becoming a regular contributor to PVAF....YOU CAN BE A REGULAR CONTRIBUTOR TO PVAF IN SO MANY WAYS....If you wish to know how... just email for information by clicking on the next red highlite HOW TO CONTRIBUTE TO PVAF.....or just click on the next line to enlighten yourself about suKH and Dukh....

SHARING WEALTH INCREASES WEALTH
SHARING DuKH DECREASED DuKH
OBTAINING GNaan ELIMINATES DuKH

A professor began his class by holding up a glass with some water in it. He held it up for all to see and asked the students,' How much do you think this glass weighs?'

'50gms!' .... '100gms!' .......'125gms' ......the students answered.

'I really don't know unless I weigh it,' said the professor, but, my question is: What would happen if I held it up like this for a few minutes?'

'Nothing' the students said.

'Ok what would happen if I held it up like this for an hour?' the professor asked.

'Your arm would begin to ache' said one of the students.

'You're right, now what would happen if I held it for a day?'

'Your arm could go numb, you might have severe muscle stress and paralysis and have to go to hospital for sure!' ventured another student and all the students laughed.

'Very good. But during all this, did the weight of the glass change?' asked the professor.

'No' answered the students

'Then what caused the arm ache & the muscle stress?' Asked the professor.

The students were puzzled.

'Put the glass down!' said one of the students.

'Exactly!' said the professor.' Life's problems are something like this:

  • Hold it for a few minutes in your head and  they seem OK.
  • Think of them for a long time and they begin to ache.
  • Hold it even longer and they begin to paralyze you. You will not be able to do anything.'
  •  It's important to think of the challenges (problems) in your life, but EVEN MORE IMPORTANT to 'put them down' at the end of every day before you go to sleep.
  • That way, you are not stressed, you wake up every day fresh & strong & can handle any issue, any challenge that comes your way!'

So, as a starter.
as it becomes time for you to leave office today,
Remember friend to 'PUT THE GLASS DOWN TODAY! '
