ANNUAL BALANCE SHEET:
The celebrations of Divaali
means lKSHmi pujn,
shaardaa pujn, iSHt daev-daevii pujn,
mutual congratulations for happiness for the new year, along with best wishes
and blessings. The celebrations end with the celebration of
bhaai-biij which gives memory of the
unbreakable, eternal and wholesome love between sisters and brothers. All the 5
days of Divaali celebrations give
enthusiasm, zeal, joy and energy to face life with bravery and unwavering
determination.
When we look at the other side of the coin during these
celebrations then the wealth producers industrialist, farmers, professionals and
traders will prepare their annual accounts of income and expenses. How was the
year? Was it good or bad? These days when we watch TV news all the various
businesses publish their profit percentages. Similarly they also publish their
loss percentages.
For the same reason as above, do we occasionally look at the
balance sheet of our own life in the previous year?
Has any wage earner or the officers who run various
organizations and associations calculated the balance sheet of their programs
during the last year? It is very seldom that anybody would divert one's
attention to this calculations.
Has somebody made a personal plan of goals and objectives at the
beginning of the year and prepare a written plan or even a mental plan about the
progress one should make in one's employment field during the year?
Also has any association made any pre-plans of the goals and
objectives for the progress of the association to be made during the coming
year?
It is a fact that very few associations commence projects at the
beginning of a year and very rarely complete such projects by the end of the
year.
Now then, let us at least look at the activities and programs of
our own aKHil gujraat pRjaapti sNGH
and its committees in our taalukaa (sub-districts) and also committees in our
jil`laa (districts).
aKHil gujraat pRjaapti sNGH
organizes and arranges as per the laws, conventions, custom, established
practice and resolutions of the association the following:
-
constitution and bylaws committees,
-
meetings of the office bearers and
-
assemblies of the conferences.
But have we undertaken any special project?
Yes! The following is the summary of activities of
aKHil gujraat pRjaapti sNGH during
last year (vikRm svNt 2060) :
-
At ambaaji, a
discussion was held of the fundraising for the construction of
junaagDH pRjaapti bhvn and for the
development of junaagDH
Education Program;
-
At amDaavaaD, as
per the goals and objectives which were set up, the
jil`laa of bnaarskaaNTHaa,
surenDRRngr and
kCH`CH contributed as per their
capacity to the Education Fund of
aKHil gujraat pRjaapti sNGH;
-
The President and many members of
aKHil gujraat pRjaapti sNGH are trying to have a resolution of
the emergency situation created by gujraat
and bhaart government laws and
taxes imposed on the brick manufacturers which is affecting negatively the
pRjaapti brick manufacturing
businesses and daily earning of many pRjaapti
and other employees. The President and many members of
aKHil gujraat pRjaapti sNGH have
also contacted the bhaart (India)
government in New Delhi.
-
It is with DuKH
(pain and suffering of disappointment and sadness) to state that during
last year many committees of our taalukaa
(sub-districts) and also committees of our
jil`laa (districts) of aKHil
gujraat pRjaapti sNGH did not send their news and program
reports for publication in our monthly magazine
"vissv niARmaataa pRjaapti".
It is our humble request that you look through the November 2003
to October 2004 editions of vissv niARmaataa
pRjaapti and let us know your unprejudiced and unbiased
opinions about which districts have published their activities. Perhaps,
May be many districts are undertaking programs but have not published the
reports of these programs due to sheer laziness!!!
It is our humble request to you that as an awakened and
actively co-participating member of aKHil gujraat pRjaapti sNGH you submit a
report of the activities of your jil`laa
this year.
Here is an example of the activities you can report and publish
about your jil`laa:
-
In December 2003 bnaaskaaNTHaa
jil`laa decided about undertaking the following 3 programs:
-
Creation of Education Development Fund
-
To have youth conference
-
To have women conference
-
3 tours were undertaken in the entire
jil`laa for the start and
implementation of the above 3 programs and efforts were made to make the 3
programs succeed.
-
A brief report on the above has been published in
vissv niARmaataa pRjaapti.
So then let us follow the cliché:
"THE MORNING STARTS FROM THE TIME YOU WAKE UP"
or
" A PROJECT COMMENCES FROM THE TIME
YOU WAKE UP TO START THE PROJECT"
And after reviewing the programs of the last year
(2003-2004)
let us commence the programs for the year from
November 2004 to October 2005.
And with the above start let us provide
the backbone strengthening needed by
our aKHil gujraat pRjaapti sNGH.
